Slide the crates, open the exit. Solve each board in fewer moves than par to chain a multiplier — and keep your one undo for a bonus.
ARCADE / GATE WEAVE
Gate Weave
WASD / arrows · touch stick on mobile
A sliding-cart score attack. Each board is a grid of colour carts that slide only along their track — drag a cart toward its same-colour gate and it exits, but only once the cart in its way is gone. Read the occlusion order, clear the whole board, and your WEAVE clear bonus grows with every clear. Thread a cart through a risk gate for a bonus. Every board is procedurally generated and guaranteed solvable. 75 seconds, board after board, then a fresh seed for the next run.
How to play
Rules
Each board holds colour carts that slide only along their own line. Drag a cart toward the same-colour gate on its line and it exits — but a cart in its way has to leave first. Clear every cart to solve the board and grow your additive WEAVE bonus for following clears. Some boards hide a risk gate: send a cart through it for a bonus. Boards are generated and always solvable; read the order instead of guessing.
Controls
Drag a cart along its line (or select with 1–9 and nudge with arrow keys) toward its matching gate. A slide off the matching edge exits the cart.
Tips
Start from the cart nearest its gate and work backwards along the occlusion chain — clearing in order unravels the board in one clean pass and keeps WEAVE climbing. A risk gate costs a detour but pays more; take it when the clock allows.
Behind the game
Gate Weave is a score attack about reading a tangle of colour carts and finding the order that unravels the board. Every cart slides only along its own line — horizontal carts move left and right, vertical ones up and down — and one drag is one move no matter how far it travels. Each cart has a matching gate on its line, and it can only leave through that gate once the path to it is clear. The interest is in the chains: the cart you want to move is blocked by another whose own exit is blocked by another, and the real solution walks the occlusion chain backwards before the board opens up.
Solving a whole board is what grows the score. Every cleared board raises the additive WEAVE bonus by 25 points for the next clear, so a clean opening run snowballs. Thread a cart through a risk gate — a second matching exit on the far edge — and that exit pays a bonus on top. Because risk gates sit on the far side, taking one usually costs a few extra slides, so the decision is whether the bonus is worth the time.
Seventy-five seconds, board after board, and a fresh seed is one tap away. The drawn cart rectangles, the highlighted move lines, and the coloured edge gates are all the engine's exact cell geometry, so every blockage is readable rather than arbitrary, and every high score is a sequence of reads rather than luck.
