Slide the colour carts to their matching gates — read the order and the whole board unravels.
ARCADE / COMET PANTRY
Comet Pantry
Drag or tap across the playfield to choose a drop position.
A seventy-five-second score attack: drag food comets into a cosmic pantry, merge equal stages, and build chains before the danger line fills.
How to play
Rules
Merge matching food comets for points. A settled comet on the danger line ends the run.
Controls
Drag or tap across the playfield to choose a drop position.
Tips
Leave room for a chain: adjacent equal stages can merge again immediately.
Behind the game
Comet Pantry turns the familiar merge puzzle into a crowded cosmic kitchen. Each drop is a food comet with a visible next stage. Choose its horizontal landing point by dragging or tapping, then let gravity and the pile decide where it settles. Equal stages that meet fuse into the next stage and score points. The immediate satisfaction is watching two small ingredients become one larger object, but the score game comes from arranging space for the fuse that follows the first fuse.
A chain happens when a new merge leaves matching neighbors ready to combine again. Those cascades raise the chain and make a carefully placed comet worth far more than a convenient drop. The board also has a danger line. A comet that settles there ends the run, so high stacks are not merely messy: they are a countdown. The useful question before every drop is not just “where can this match?” but “will that match create room, keep low pieces reachable, and avoid trapping the next stage above the line?”
The game tracks the next comet, your highest stage, merge total, and the distance to the top-tier fusion, making progress visible even on a run that ends early. A seed supplies a new sequence for a new attempt, while replaying a completed run can preserve its starting puzzle. The clock caps the session at seventy-five seconds, so planning stays brisk. Comet Pantry is a pantry in orbit where fruit-like comets bump and combine: build broad foundations, save a lane for the next ingredient, and turn one well-placed drop into a chain reaction before the shelf fills.
